Clay, a versatile material, spans a spectrum from a light beige to vivid red, with particles of varying sizes, yielding diverse material qualities. As a fundamental substance in human creation, clay is extracted and homogenized to form a cohesive material.

Geo seeks establish a more direct connection with this essential element on a human scale and delve into its intricate nature. The aim was to grasp the process of sourcing and collection, conducting experiments and understanding its capacities when the material come raw.

The exploration spanned four distinct sources: Brabant (NL), Béarn (FR), Provence (FR), and Les Landes (FR). Each locale comes with its unique clay, unveiling a rich tapestry of characters. This material research sought to forge a direct understanding of the earth's main matter.
