Sitting ≠ Seat

Function and artifact, an intertwined combination. Just as you intuitively sit on a chair, a chair begs for you to sit. Delving into this symbiotic relationship, a simple question got asked: can these two exist, isolated from each other? How could we sit without a chair? With this interrogation in mind a structure got materialized: interlocking wooden elements, yet not conforming to the conventional notion of a seat.

In this division of form and function emerged an exploration that challenges preconceived expectations and invites us to explore the boundaries of utility and design, where the familiar and the unexpected can converge.
